Basic introduction

    Dongying is the center city of the Huanghe Delta. With the development of the Huanghe Delta and Shengli Oil field, Dongying,the prefectural-level city of Shandong province, was built in October,1983. Dongying covers three regions which is Dongying, Hekou and Economic development zone and three countries which is Guangrao, Kenli and Lijin. The population is 1,800,000. The total area is 8053 square kilometers. It is the richest areas in the east China coast land. It also has the advantages of open coastal city and west interior area. Shengli oil field, Petroleum University of China and  Huanghe delta production baseJinan military region are still located in Dongying city.

     Dong Ying City is located in the triangle zone between the northeast of Shandong Province and Huanghe River .The modern Huanghe Delta is the new land which formed since 1855. The Huanghe Delta started from Ning Hai of Ken Li County , north wraps Taoer river mouth, south to branch vein river mouth. The area is 5400 square kilometers, in which 95% (5200 square kilometers)is in Dongying city.Dongying complete administrative division includes 2853 square kilometers which its south links up with the Taiyi mountain silting plain. The Huanghe delta geography position is superior. And it's location has the geographic advantages drawing near the sea and according to the river.It's over 38 N, the climate is moderate and the four seasons are distinct. Meanwhile the rain and hot climate is in the same time, the illumination is sufficient and it is the monsoon continental climate.As for the concrete position, it is located in the geography center between the Shandong Peninsula and the Liaodong Peninsula. The north  is to Beijing ,Tianjin and Tangshan economic zone. The east connect to the Shandong peninsula's developed city. The northeast is opposite to Dalian city.It radiates the general interior area to the west. It is the link point between Bohai  economic zone and the Huanghe  economical belt . It  is also the important link which connects the two important economic zone between the northeast and the  Central Plains.The country lists Huanghe Delta as one of five big granaries and the agricultural synthesis development zone. And the nation adds Dongying city as the coastal economy open area.Shandong Province lists the Yellow River delta development as one of two big cross-century projects .Last March, the United Nations industrial development organized Dongying city as “the international green industry model district”.

The total area of Dongying city is 8053 square kilometers.

Geographical environment

     Dongying city is located in the north of Huanghe delta in Shandong province. Chinese nation's mother river--Yellow River, flows in Bohai within the boundaries of Dongying city. Dongying city  the north is near Bohai Sea, the west adjoins with Binzhou city, the south with Zibo city, Weifang city borders on.

Visa

    The citizens of Singapore , Japan and Brunei who hold the ordinary passport to go to China to visit relatives,friends or do business, and the detention period does not surpass 15 day do not need the visa.The standard tourist is valid for a period of 30 days. Shopping

Shopping in Dongying is extremely convenient.  Many shopping centers  open for business every year. The majority of stores do business daily, from 9 AM to 9 pm.The night market open in the evening. If you go shopping in the nearby street or in the famous market, you may negotiate price generally.

Attire

In China, except for the official social occasion, generally the clothing  has not stipulated, but the solemn attire can be appropriate. The official situation is most common by the western-style clothing and tie.In Winters of the south, a woolen sweater or the coat is enough.In summer, the neat attire is suitable.

Health

The passenger  must report the health statement when they enter the country.The hotel provides the bottled tap water in the guest room. If you have the need, you can use the equipment which is provided by the guest room to boil the water before you drink it.
